About Fen66
Fen66 is a web directory built on a single organising principle: that a careful, systematic log of websites — filed by subject and maintained with consistent standards — is more useful than an unstructured accumulation of links. The directory currently holds 828 entries across 22 subject sections, each reviewed before being admitted to the record.
The expedition log format shapes how content is organised here. Each section of the directory corresponds to a distinct field of activity, from overland transport and dental provisions through to legal territory and expedition travel. Entries within each section are filed without ranking or editorial comment — the log records what is there, and leaves evaluation to the reader.
Fen66 is open to submissions from site owners in all twenty-two subject sections. Submitted sites are reviewed by the Fen66 team and, if approved, added to the relevant section of the log. There is no charge to submit or to browse the directory. The record grows as new entries are reviewed and admitted.
The directory is maintained on an ongoing basis. Entries that become unreachable or no longer relevant to their filed section are removed in the course of periodic reviews. The aim is to keep the log accurate and useful over time, rather than simply large.
If you operate a website and would like it to be considered for inclusion, use the submission form to log your details. The Fen66 team will review your submission and respond in due course.
